Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Medical Biller & Customer Service Representative for our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Home Medical Equipment (HME) company. In this role, you will be responsible for handling medical billing tasks, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Medical Billing:
PLEASE NOTE : PREVIOUSE EXPERIENCE IN DME/HME BILLING IS A MUST
Generate and submit claims to insurance providers for DME/HME services.
Verify patient insurance information and eligibility.
Review and resolve claim rejections or denials promptly.
Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable and ensure timely payment.
Customer Service:
-Referral Source Outreach to make sure all needed documents are collected
-Assist customers with inquiries related to billing, claims, and insurance coverage.
Provide clear and concise information regarding DME/HME products and services.
Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
Maintain positive relationships with clients and insurance representatives.
Documentation and Compliance:
-Ensure all billing documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and billing guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
