This position will start part-time and slower-paced for the first 3 or so months as you receive training and start adding tasks and responsibilities to your plate one by one, and then it will grow into a busier, more fast-paced full-time position. This is a great opportunity with potential for career growth and raises over time.

- A variety of general administrative tasks

- Data entry

- Insurance verification phone calls

- Digital filing and organization (filing online faxes, etc.)

- Billing reconciliation in EMR

Some skills and qualifications required for the position include:

- Administrative experience

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets

- Data entry

- Insurance verification and authorization checks

- Strong English writing and communication skills

- Strong knowledge of Google Drive, Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Documents

- Experience with navigating EMRs (we use Raintree)

- Excellent organizational skills

- Tech savvy; ability to quickly learn how to navigate new software, platforms and websites

- Must not be working another job while working for Radiant Kids Therapy full-time.

- Great attention to detail and accuracy, such as this requirement that you must change the subject line of your application email to 'I want to work for Radiant Kids Therapy, [insert the name of our CEO]'

- Strong character, such as integrity, kindness, professionalism and reliability

Compensation: ($7-10/hour)

- Part-Time (up to 20-25 hours/week) during the first 3 months: $602-$860/month

- Full-Time (40 hours/week), after the first 3 months: $1,204-$1,720/month

Perks:

- Flexible schedule (mostly). There will be times you will need to meet with us by Zoom or Google Meet during our business hours (8 am - 5 pm PST or 5 am - 2 pm PST if you're working with our payroll and insurance specialist, who is on the East Coast US), but we will always schedule these with you ahead of time. There will be more video calls during your first couple of months as you're training and learning new skills, then less video calls as time goes on.

- 15 days of flexible PTO per year; accrues over the course of the year starting after 1 month of employment; cap of up to 120 hours of PTO accrued. This PTO can be used flexibly toward PTO/vacation, holidays or sick leave, as you choose-- you'll just need to let us know ahead of time (except in the case of sudden sickness, of course).

Radiant Kids Therapy is a small business (~50 employees) located in sunny San Diego, California. We offer in-home speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy services to children ages 0 - 18.
