Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role is crucial for providing accurate financial information and insights, which are vital for strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with SAP accounting software, and experience with NetSuite is preferred. This role requires an analytical mindset, a passion for driving business growth through detailed financial management and reporting, and expertise in managing inventory in an eCommerce setting.



Responsibilities:



Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are in accordance with established guidelines and accounting standards (GAAP).

Implement and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.

Analyze financial information to recommend efficiencies, cost savings, and improved revenue.

Coordinate with IT department to optimize financial software and systems, with a strong focus on SAP and NetSuite functionalities.

Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

Engage with department heads to provide financial insight and advice that support operational decision-making.

Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure proper accounting for purchases and disposals.

Manage inventory accounting processes, including valuation, costing, and inventory forecasts.

Supervise and mentor junior finance team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.



Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or similar) is highly desirable.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management accounting role, with significant experience in an eCommerce environment.

Proficiency in SAP accounting software is required; experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational and leadership capabilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a firm grasp on individual project details.

Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.

Proven experience in inventory management within the eCommerce sector.
