We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented E-commerce Accountant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced marketplace environment. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in accounting or a related field, with prior experience in e-commerce settings.

The primary responsibilities will revolve around bank reconciliations, processing customer refunds, and executing month-end entries. This role demands a keen eye for accuracy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving marketplace landscape.

Responsibilities:

Bank Reconciliations:

- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements with internal records.

- Identify and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions.

Customer Refunds Processing:

- Manage the end-to-end process of customer refunds, including validation, approval, and disbursement.

- Coordinate with relevant departments to address customer inquiries and concerns related to refunds.

- Maintain detailed records of refund transactions for audit and reporting purposes.

Month-End Entries:

- Prepare and post journal entries for month-end closing procedures.

- Reconcile various accounts and ensure their accuracy prior to finalization.

- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline month-end processes and improve efficiency.



Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Previous experience in accounting roles within e-commerce or marketplace environments is preferred.

- Proficiency in accounting software Microsoft Excel.

- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
